Advent Midweek Services
The theme of our Advent Midweek services this year will be related to the “Last Things”. Each week will take a look at what our Lord teaches about the End and how that is a comfort to us. The first week’s focus will be on the “now” as we prepare for the Last Day with hope and assurance of our Lord’s favor. The Second week will shift to a more direct teaching on the Last Day, the Resurrection and how that is a good day for us as Christians. The Third week will focus on eternity with Christ and how that helps us endure all things at present, knowing and having a confident hope in what is yet to come for God’s people.
Please join us for our Advent Midweek services on the following dates and times:
Wednesday December 2nd at 12pm (noon) and 7pm
Wednesday December 9th at 12pm (noon) and 7pm
Wednesday December 16th at 12pm (noon) and 7pm
Children’s Christmas Program
Our children’s Christmas Program will be held on Wednesday December 23rd at 6pm.
The theme will be “The Cross in the Christmas Tree.” Please come out and support our kids here at Resurrection by coming and hearing about the salvation of Christ proclaimed in word and song.
Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols
Our Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols Service will be held on Thursday December 24th at 7pm. There will be the traditional readings of the story of Christmas along with corresponding carols sung by all in preparation to celebrate our Lord’s birth.
Christmas Day Divine Service
